Core Issues





Planks are all about focusing on two things for me:

First ~ Controlling my alignment.

Second ~ Controlling my breathing.

Proper pose alignment includes things like shoulder placement directly above the wrists,
glutes in line with the upper body,
(no sagging in the middle like a "u" or butt in the air like a "^")
& abs should be tightly held in to protect the back
while providing a stability for the entire body...



Proper breathing includes deeply inhaling & exhaling while holding the pose...
I like to focus all my energy in my core.
& I hold it... & hold it... & hold it...
When my body is finally shaking...
I hold it for one last breath...
